  • My HBH-DS980 Bluetooth Headset

    HBH-DS980 Bluetooth Headset

    Finally I was wearing this lanyard style headset around my neck. I had been hesitating own this since last year.

    This headset was good but I still could not access my address book through bluetooth. The sound quality was excellent because it support A2DP and work well on all my SonyEricsson phones.

    Interestingly the package said, it would not support chinese characters on the OLED but I managed to see chinese words on the display when I had incoming call. However I was not able to see chinese words when i made outgoing call.

    My Apple TV
    Got myself a AppleTV. Not really impressive with it. Would prefer to buy a Nintendo Wii for my entertainment in the living room.

    I was able to access YouTube and iTunes Store but was not able to watch the videos and movie trailers respectively. The Apple support site said if I was using a proxy server, I would not be able to stream video to my AppleTV. Will workaround this problem when i feel like it.

    I wished I could use my AppleTV as an extension storage for my iTunes than syncing. In that way I could free up more storage space on my Macbook Pro.

    I was happy with the screensaver, I could select and displayed photos from my iPhoto on my TV

    Since I bought this device, I might as well made full use of it then whining over it shortfalls.

    My Sony Ericsson S500c lighted up!

    My SE K800i suddenly cannot powered up after I changed the battery. I was disappointed and desperate for a mobile phone and I bought my Sony Ericsson S500c. As I explored the phone, I realised this was a lady-killer phone. Using this phone made me popular among the ladies.

    This phone worked with iSync but I had to buy the plugin from a third-party vendor. The music playback on the speaker was better than the K800i. The OS performed faster and smoother than K800i too. This phone also support PictBridge and came with 512MB Sony M2 memory card.

    However the next day, I got the power up problem of my K800i fixed and now it was working fine.

    Last month, I was shopping and I went to a music shop and decided to buy a guitar. So I bought a Taylor guitar, a Baby Taylor guitar made of Mahogany. It took me quite long to choose between Sapele and Mahogany. I found Mahogany sounded quite funny but after strumming for quite sometime I found the sound unique and decided to own one.

    The guitar was called Baby Taylor because it was one quarter smaller than standard guitar and was suitable for travelling. I was very happy with it and it came with a nice traveller guitar bag.

  • Addicted To Mario Kart

    Ever since I get the Mario Kart game, I have been playing every day and night and addicted to it. The game is very fun and challenging. The speeding, the drifting, the sabotaging… WOW! The game will make me want more of it and satisfy my ego.

  • My New Toy: Nintendo DS Lite

    Me And My Nintendo Lite DS

    What do Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong have in common? They are all games available on Nintendo. Yup! I just get myself a Nintendo Lite DS and I am happily entertained by it. I feel like a kid again, playing Super Mario.

    The cool thing about this portable console is, I can play over Wi-Fi and over the internet to challenge other players or collaborate on a mission.

    Is a good thing I sold away my Xbox360 and get myself a NDS. This entertaining portable device is going to keep me entertain during my long lonely travel.

    Another phone I am eying on it, is this Sony Ericsson M600i. This is the business phone I want to have it in my possession if I am going to start my new business next month in Zhuhai, China.

    This phone have all the features I need to give me the mobility to roam China freely by putting my office into this smartphone. I think M600i will let me run my business almost remotely while I am on the road.

    I can’t wait to get my hands on it but what the use of owning this piece of superiorly engineered device if 3G network is not available in China now?

    If 3G network is available, will M600i be able to work on China’s home-grown 3G network, TD-SCDMA?

  • Nintendo Wii

    After evaluating Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, I am very impress with the two next generation consoles. I am excited with the bells and whistles. Then I remember I forget to evaluate Nintendo Wii. How can I forget my favourite games Mario and Zelda that are available only on Nintendo platform.

    So I check out the Nintendo website and get more excited with their new controller that offer new ways of playing game.

    Nintendo says the Wii will be cheaper than X360. If I have to get another console, I will choose Wii over PS3. I do not have a HDTV to display the beautiful graphics PS3 has to offer. After all, I want to be entertained and not entertain.

    Two days after Sony launches Playstation 3, 19 November 2006, Nintendo will launch the new console Wii, pronounce as “we”.

  • Sony Playstation 3

    Next month, 17 November, just around the corner, Sony is launching Playstation 3 (PS3) in North America.

    I am very tempted to get a set for my living room. The launching price is at USD$600 really make one consider was it worth owning it.

    If I get myself a PS3, then I will get a Playstation Portable (PSP) as the companion. With such a good console sitting in my living room, I will be tempted to replace my old television with a HDTV to get the best visual effects.

    So what if i have the best graphical game and my PS3 is connected to a normal television. So a upgrade to a HDTV is a must.

    I will have to upgrade my sound system too to match all these great stunting graphics. Of course with such great entertainment, I need to get a nice comfortable sofa too. Wow! Seem like I am going to overhaul my living room.

    Since I already own a Xbox 360, I am in no rush to get another console. Most of the features available in PS3, I get it in my X360 and is cheaper.

    The only reason why I want a Sony Playstation 3 is to play my favourite game Metal Gear Solid.
