    Lost, Season One

    Yeah! Another drama marathon, completed three seasons in one breath, watching while eating egg tarts and orange juice on my cozy couch.

    The story was typical, was a combo of lot of movies and computer games stories into a long drama but the scenes were well constructed and that was what made the drama so anticipating, so mysterious, so addicting that I just wanted to keep watching episode after episode.

    My favourite character was the fat guy, Hugo Reyes also known as Hurley, played by Jorge Garcia. He turned out to be a millionaire after his lottery windfall.

    Another favourite of mine was Vincent, the labrador dog. The dog was adorable and fun. When I saw Vincent running up and down the beach, how I wished I was there to play with him.

It was a great spectacular view and idle people gathered around and wondered and then admired the new inspired architecture when the whole lot just collapsed and slanted backward. The police and the related departments came and secured the area. This area was crowded for more than a week. This event happened last month.

Usually I will take my time to shop after my meal, relaxing and browsing through the titles shelves after shelves. Sometimes I will go back with one or two DVDs, sometimes I will go back with fifty or more. Welcome to DVD Paradise!

  • Living In Manhattan

    Living In Manhattan, 20th floor
    This is my new dwelling place, Manhattan, living almost at the top and I have the bird’s-eye view of the town from my balcony.

    I like to hang out at the balcony and enjoy the view. It make me feel I am at the top of the world and above the rest.

    I love living in Manhattan!

    今天是香港回归十周年，也是我退伍十年了，也是我开始踏进这个现实的社会。

    十年前的我还以为中国回收香港是件坏事，没想到香港回归中国给香港带来了更美好的将来。我也看到了一国两制的存在。 现在的香港居民不象以前回归的时候，不知道自己的民族身份。中央政府对香港的付出，耐心和不辞辛劳的精神，已经赢到香港居民的心。现在的香港居民已经接受了中国是祖国。

    在这十年里，香港居民已经接受了一国两制。在新的环境之下，香港居民也开始改便了生活，开始溶合中华民族的精神。现在的新香港在这个世界舞台已经开始找到了自己新的生存方式和新的角色。

    我在这十年里又有什么收货？我觉得我和香港一样，花了十年的时间来了解在这社会上的人生生活的哲学.

    现在的我找到了新的自己，找到了我在世界舞台的新生存方式和新的角色。

    Heroes - Save The Cheerleader, Save The World

    “Save the cheerleader, save the world” that the story of NBC drama, Heroes, all about saving New York from an explosion by saving the cheerleader, Claire Bennet played by Hayden Panettiere, and kill the bad guy called Sylar that killed superpower people to get their powers.

    As the story escalated and coming to an end, it got more emotional and the show also injected family values. Not just about saving the world. All these heroes, some had to save their individual families, for the bigger picture, to save the world.

    As I got engrossed into the drama, I also fell in love with the cheerleader, Claire. Her beauty captivated my eyes.

    I now looking forward for the next season of Heroes.

  • Shopping in Hong Kong

    Dozing On The Train

    I was bored and met up with Alvin and we went shopping in Hong Kong. Alvin got an Apple Macbook. It was his first Mac. After shopping, we spent our night exploring the Mac and updating and installing software at my place.

    Well, for me, I got myself the new model Apple Airport Extreme that support the 802.11N. This hardware was cool and I liked it. Check out my review here.

  • NAS For My Home

    After Setting Up A Wireless Router, Airport Extreme glows in the dark

    Got myself a 802.11n compatible router, the new AirPort Extreme.

    Beside running my network on N version, faster speed and covering longer distance, another cool reason was I could run a NAS (Network-Attached Storage) on it.

    The new hardware is cool. I just plugged in my USB harddisk to the Extreme and I had my storage over the network. I could configured to access the harddisk over the internet through Apple File Protocol (AFP). The Extreme could be enabled for Wide-Area Bonjour too but I could not find any in-depth documentation on the topic so I did not configure it.

    Great! After setting up a wireless router at home, now I had my own NAS. My friends could do big files sharing with me when I was offline. This also benefited my mac clients for not lagging and hogging my network bandwidth.

  • Baby Taylor

    My Baby Taylor Guitar

    Last month, I was shopping and I went to a music shop and decided to buy a guitar. So I bought a Taylor guitar, a Baby Taylor guitar made of Mahogany. It took me quite long to choose between Sapele and Mahogany. I found Mahogany sounded quite funny but after strumming for quite sometime I found the sound unique and decided to own one.

    The guitar was called Baby Taylor because it was one quarter smaller than standard guitar and was suitable for travelling. I was very happy with it and it came with a nice traveller guitar bag.
