China has been cutting down on the number of people that will be able to have a blog, everyday they put more restrictions to get authorization for a website (getting an ICP). Who know where it will end.
ICP is for website with .cn domain and hosting it in China. In fact I do encourage this restrictive move. There are too many scam now using .cn, so this move will make .cn more respected and trust worthy in the future.
Another country is Singapore. Getting a .sg also need some kind of documentation. Such enforcement is carry out by providers that offer domain hosting services.
China and Singapore hold the same policy. May be Singapore is such a small country and did not get the world attention compare to China.
