I first loss weight when I was around twelve-year-old. My second time was in my late twenties. My third time was in my late thirties. And now this was my fourth time, almost in my fifty. However after my second time losing weight, I went into non-meat diet for two times and four years each time, and that made it to a total of eight years.
During these eight years, I ate mostly vegetables and seafood. No egg and meat. I included eating chicken during my second four-year non-meat diet. Since then, it became my habit of eating less meat but more vegetables till now.
Today the time had come for me to end my diet. From 97kg to today 69.85kg, took me eight months to lose 27kg. That is 3.375kg per month.
This time it was tiring, I could feel my age was catching up although I could still maintain it. The feeling of hunger all the time and fatigue from exercise with lesser food intake made me physically weak. Nevertheless losing 27kg in eight months was mentally satisfying.
I was glad that my mind was still mentally strong and well disciplined to execute my dietary goal. Losing weight was the result but the process achieved was discipling my mind.
